Bug zappers are NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY. They randomly kill any bug that wanders into their kill zone. Insects are IMPORTANT to the ecosystem!

The enviornment is an ever changing one. And bug zappers are only placed in areas of constant human activity, not everywhere. You might not share your current position if the world was overrun by mosquitos and flies spreading disease. Culling pests may also be considered preserving the enviorment.
