No better word can define the gob that committed this crime.BASTARD!!! I am not a strong advocate of death punishment but I still believe that it should be afflicted in such extreme cases. The victim who faced the wrath would at least find solace in the fact that law has done the ultimate justice by taking that mans life.

Ya man!!! That would hurt so much. He told the woman it was Glucose. I think this person should be hanged. I mean he robbed her, raped her, threatened to harm her son and then he did this.. Her eyelashes are burnt along with the skin around her eye. Even the police admit this is bizarre and have never witnessed something like this before.

I doubt this woman will get any satisfaction by giving this man a slow death. She really would not care. The damage is done, the government can do a lot of things like hanging or even torturing and eventually killing him but that would still not take away the harm caused. Even if you torture the man in the most gruesome manner, I doubt they would feel guilty.

What cannot be reversed is the fact that tht little toddler has witnessed such an act. If only that part of his memory can be erased.

Deepa it’s a horrible thing to happen both to the kid and the mother. Rape can be devastating. It can affect a person’s emotional and physical health. Reproductive problems or pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, broken arms, bruises, tears, concussions, even death happen.

Emotional symptoms include depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, intense fear, flashbacks, nightmares, being suspicious, isolation, irritability, lack of concentration. Socially things can go crazy—victims hide from everyone, stop going to school, lose jobs. However in certain cases a particular part of the victims memory is zapped, so that they can cope with their life.

It’s frightening to think people like this actually exist! I really wonder what goes on in these people heads. Have they no soul?

It’s all about power play. Given the circumstances, the rape was bound to happen as the woman was petrified and helpless. There are lots of perverts in the world. Three things this guy said disturbed me, you already quoted one of them, the second one is ”Maybe I should take you for a drive but I guarantee that if I take you for a drive that it will be an all night thing because I have some friends in a car and they aren’t as nice as me. Finally I never understood why he put gunpowder in the woman’s eye? I mean she has already seen him, what could he possibly get by doing this? Making her go blind wouldn’t erase her remember and she’d be able to describe the guy’s face tell it to the police in any case. So how does adding gunpowder to her eyes matter? Even he knew that she would eventually report to the police. The guy has a huge criminal record, so by describing his looks, he would easily be caught and that’s exactly what happened in this case.

I agree with all of you, I think this guy should not be let off easily. He should die a slow death, he should be tortured in the most barbaric fashion so that he can be made an example of. I fear for the little child who at such a tender age has been exposed to the horrific side of life. I hope and pray to god that he doesn’t become a basket case after this incident. luckily kids are resilient, but the scars will remain.

It’s sad that this happened to the mom and her son, but there are lot of new therapies for rape victims. In severe cases their memory is zapped. This way, they will never remember that one particular incident and can move on with their life. Another form of therapy may end the bad dreams often suffered by women traumatized by sexual abuse or assault.

It is called Image Rehersal Therapy, which greatly improves the amount of sleep of the victims. This is a brilliant technique. As one of the common things doctor’s neglect is that every rape victim suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and nightmares. This therapy helps combat that problem giving the victims the ability to have sound sleep. I’m certain with the amount of effective therapies, the mother and the son will be fine.

This is the worst kind of perverted activity that I’ve heard of so far! I have heard of rapists shoving down hard-drinks bottles down the birth canal of the victims after gang raping them and burning them all over with cigarette buts. But the incidents cited out here are far crueler. Well, rape is not about having sex but it is the inherent desire of some people to be nasty to the worst possible extent.

Rape is a heinous a crime as murder or something worse than that. So just hanging is not enough, the culprit should be tortured to death in the most dreadful manner possible. Maybe such a legal action is not going to have any effect on the victim in this case, but a death penalty will surely help to reduce the rate of this crime in future.

Yes, I completely agree with you Oscar! Even the cops find this the most bizarre case they had to deal with in the past years, which is probably why he is getting some help. I truly think no man in his right frame of mind is capable of doing something like this. But your right, this guy deserves to be punished and the cops shouldn’t get him loose. Previously he forced a 16 year old who was returning home from school with her younger brother to provide him sexual favors. He put his hands down the girl’s pants and then forced her to masturbate him before tying her and her brother with their school ties and fleeing. He lured both of them at knife point into a nearby park to do this. It’s scary to know that there are so many freaks in this world!

I am going to impart a bit of Psychology on you: P Well you should know that rapists are men with serious personality or psychology disorders. They prefer discharging these disorders through sexual violence. This genre of men is not intimidated by logical consideration as punishment, ill effects to victim or disgrace. Rapists are generally aggressive or violent with anger and power is the dominant component of the act.

In such a situation making them suffer is not going to help. 1) Because this is not in any way “real” justice to the woman, as harming the perpetrator would rewind and make the whole incident disappear. 2) Usually rapists are mentally ill and no amount of punishment will make them repent. They like to cause pain on themselves and on others (for power)

This is a well established fact in psychology. I realize that when you hear about such an incident you feel like punishing the man in the worst possible way, but I am sorry to burst your bubble. There can be a lot of reasons, few like you mentioned of being molested, raped or beaten up as a kid. But there are lots of cases where the perpetrators had a perfectly “normal” childhood. So it’s really hard to blame the society or family or parents. All we can do is provide help to the ones who are mentally ill. That’s the only way out of it.

Its very true that a mentally ill person can resort to perverted activity of this kind. But, it is commonly seen that a disadvantaged woman is always sexually abused. It happens in colleges, on the streets, in public places or anywhere else. Majority of men try to make sexual advances towards women if they get an opportunity to do so.
